Advanced Laparoscopic Procedures
Professor Chris Berney is a renowned international surgeon dedicated to the development and implementation of advanced laparoscopic procedures. He is driven by his patients’ unique needs, recovery, and overall quality of life and has performed more than 6,000 laparoscopic procedures.
My aim is to deliver the highest quality service and to provide a thorough analysis of individual surgery needs. I will find the most appropriate and least invasive approach that provides the best outcomes for my patients,’ Prof Chris Berney.
Revered in the medical industry, he leads educational programs in advanced laparoscopic techniques for surgeons. Prof Berney also plays a pivotal role in the development of life-saving and life-enhancing medical devices, working closely with this innovative industry. His research has been extensively published in scientific journals, and he has been a recipient of numerous awards.
Prof Berney is currently Coordinator of Undergraduate Surgical Education, Member of the New South Wales Surgical Research Subcommittee, as well as Conjoint Professor with the University of NSW.
